A couple of weeks ago on a Monday, we found there was empty shelves and staff unpacking refrigerated goods taking out certain sections of the cold areas. We thought this was bad so we got the items we could and went to Aldi. The next week we decided to gobto Woolworths on Wednesday, the day of the specials and it was just as bad. There was empty shelves. Its hard to get fresh fruit and vegetables there. I had to request watermelon to be cut. Again we got what we could snd went to Aldi. Aldi is proving to be better as the shelves are full.
Fresh food is non existent. I have complained about the topping up of vegetables and nothing has ever been done. For example, having days old beans mixed with some not so old (Read still not fresh) is a health risk! The health dept should put the cleaners through them. Reason being if this is what I can see, what don't we see?Another example, they think that by drowning vegetables in fresh water every day helps....Nope, but it sure helps with rot. Things like living butter lettuces, don't wet the leaves, try the roots! Have got these home and they are rotten in a matter of days and hence thrown out!Clean up your act Woolworths Management Tahmoor or clean them out!
Staff were very helpful and had great product knowledge, they even helped me load it in the car. Staff at Tahmoor woollies are always friendly, polite and helpful.
Wow they call themselves the fresh food people they should change it to the frozen food people. For the past several weeks Woolworths have been selling partially defrosted strawberries. Destroying there goodness and shelf life. Woolworths needs to stop freezing fresh food. Another reason to shop elsewhere....... shame on you Woolworths......
This Woolworths has undercover parking and easy disability ammenities. The store layout is great and staff are friendly. Have been shopping here close to fifteen years. Great service.
